This is the RP journal for xkesshoux.

In the short time Sasori is in the series, not a whole lot was revealed about him. What we do know, however, is this:

Sasori was born in Sunagakure to parents of unknown name (or origin for that matter). When he was still rather young, his parents were sent out on a mission against Konoha, and in the process were killed by Kakashi's pop (Konoha's White Fang). Left in the care of his grandmother, Chiyo, he was taught how to make and control puppets.

Shortly after learning these techniques, he built his first puppets in the likenesses of his mother and father, in an attempt to replace the parents he'd lost. It wasn't long, however, before he realized that nothing could really replace them, and he discarded the puppets.

Seeing other children in the village so happy with their parents, he started to become somewhat jealous and distant.

At some undetermined point, he became an actual ninja, though there really isn't a whole hell of a lot known about his teenage years in Suna. It is known, however, that he became quite a skilled puppetmaster, developing several different puppets for the puppet-corps (some of which are used by Kankurou later). Still, he became a bit too ambitious in his line of work, and left the village when his experimental ideas of making human puppets were frowned upon. Even once he'd disappeared, his was still a name that many people in Sunagakure knew.

Sometime after he left (vague timeline, I know, but it wasn't really touched upon that much), Sasori made himself into a living puppet (finding art in immortalization), joined the Akatsuki, and over the course of twenty years, managed to create over a hundred puppets out of the corpses of his enemies, including the third Kazekage.

At the end of this twenty year span, he was sent alongside his partner Deidara to capture the ichibi, Gaara, though since the one tail was supposedly Deidara's target, he stayed out of the fight. Leaving the village, they were followed by Kankurou, and Sasori made quick work of him, being the worst possible opponent for the young puppetmaster.

After the extraction was complete, he stayed to fight Sakura and Chiyo (who had, along with Team Gai, Naruto, and Kakashi, come to rescue Gaara). The duo made quick work of the puppet he usually used as a shell (Hiruko), soon forcing him out into the open, where he revealed to Chiyo the face that hadn't changed in twenty years as well as the puppet of the third Kazekage.

Chiyo brought out the puppets of his parents to fight against him, but after judging their abilities, he brought out the Kazekage's Iron Sand jutsu, rendering both of the other puppets immobile. In the end, Sakura managed to destroy his puppet, forcing him to use "himself".

The next phase of the battle only lasted three minutes, Sakura smashing Sasori apart at the end of it. Unfortunately for her, he managed to put himself right back together again, bringing out one hundred puppets to fight against Chiyo's ten. Eventually, Chiyo had Sakura throw a chakra sealing...beast...thing at him, and again, they thought it was the end of the battle.

They were wrong. Sasori had actually transferred the only living flesh left of himself to another puppet, attempting to stab Chiyo. Sakura, however, got in the way, taking the blade instead, and as he moved back in for another strike, Chiyo used some of the strength she had left to cause the puppets of his parents to stab him through his heart (that sole remaining piece of himself).

Forced to watch as Chiyo healed Sakura's wound with her own life force, commented on how his grandmother's life meant nothing to him, and that Sakura should get a body like his that felt no pain and didn't age or die (a perfect body). He just laughed at her when she punched him, saying that women always did pointless things, but just before he stopped moving (essentially dying, I suppose) did something pointless himself and gave them information about his contacts with a spy of his regarding Orochimaru.
